Steam and condensate

Full steam trap programs: we survey and tag every trap with a stamped stainless steel tag, test each trap two independent ways (ultrasonic with UE Systems UltraProbe 15,000 and surface temperature), and deliver a baseline report of failed-open, failed-closed and leaking traps with estimated steam loss in pounds per hour. We replace failed traps with quick-change trap stations and install wireless acoustic and temperature monitoring that reports through our own cellular gateways, so nothing touches the customer's network. We also repair steam and condensate piping, valves, strainers and condensate return lines in tunnels and mechanical rooms.

Plumbing for occupied buildings

Domestic water repiping in copper, PEX and CPVC while buildings stay open, phased floor by floor with temporary water where needed. Fixture and ADA upgrades. Grease interceptors. Sanitary and storm repairs with camera inspection, hydro-jetting and trenchless pipe bursting up to 12-inch.

Boilers and water heaters

Replacement of commercial boilers up to 6,000 MBH and water heaters, including temporary steam or hot water during the cutover.

Medical gas

Installation, repair and outlet replacement for oxygen, medical air, vacuum and nitrous oxide systems under NFPA 99, by ASSE 6010 certified installers, with third-party verification on every tie-in.

Laboratory and process piping

Acid waste, deionized water and laboratory gas piping for research and teaching labs.

Backflow and water management

Annual backflow testing and certification by state-certified testers, and support for ASHRAE 188 Legionella water management programs: flushing, temperature logging and mixing valve maintenance.

Preventive maintenance and emergency service

Preventive maintenance contracts with monthly reporting, and 24/7 emergency response: 1 hour by phone, 4 hours on site within 50 miles of any of our offices.
